Kermit was born November 13, 1917, to William and Grace (Michelson) Engh at Goldfield, Iowa. He graduated Kanawha High School in 1936, and two years later married the love of his life, Jessie Louise Brown, on November 24, 1938. They farmed in the Kanawha area for 25 years, before moving to Boulder, Colorado in 1964. Kermit retired from the University of Colorado after 20 years, retiring in Grand Junction in 1987. Kermit enjoyed his woodworking and woodcarving, enjoyed fishing with Jessie and his family, fishing just about every fishing hole in Colorado, and traveling in their motorhome. He never met a stranger and would strike up a conversation with anyone. He moved to The Atrium where he was surrounded by many beloved friends.

The family would like to include nephew, Bob and his wife, Jo Anne Stroup, and Kay and Steve Volman as very close family friends. We love you. Kermit is also survived by his sister-in-law, Arlene of Kanawha and numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.
