Stacey Marie Foster, daughter of Steven and Marie Anderson Foster, was born November 29, 1979, at Fort Dodge, Iowa. She attended Lincoln Elementary School, and would have been in first grade this fall. She died in a fire at the home of friends, Thursday morning, at the age of six years, eight months, and 21 days. Her brother, Steven James Foster, Jr. also lost his life in the fire. He was born June 18, 1961, at Fort Dodge, Iowa, and would have started in pre-school this fall. At the time of his death, he was five years, one month, and three days old. The children are survived by their parents, a half-brother William Pilcher, Eagle Grove; two half-sisters Caroline Foster, St. Cloud, Minn., and Melissa Pilcher, Eagle Grove. Their grandmothers also survive. They are Mrs. Margaret Anderson, and Mrs. Harriett Foster, both of Eagle Grove. Funeral services were held on Saturday, August 2, 1966, at 2:00 p.m. in the Samuel Lutheran Church, Eagle Grove, with the Rev. Carlton Shaw officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery, Eagle Grove, Iowa.
