In 1900 he came to Eagle Grove, Iowa, and for seven years he and his brother, Will, farmed together. He positively confessed his saving faith in Jesus Christ and was baptized by his pastor. He leaves his wife and son, three brothers, Frank of San Fernando, Calif., Will and Jack of Eagle Grove and one sister, Mrs. Wm. Curts of Worthing, S. D.

Funeral services were held in the Methodist church on Sunday afternoon. The sermon was preached by W. G. Muhleman. Interment was made in Rose Hill cemetery. Mrs. Beckholt and son and all the relatives have the sympathy of the entire church and community in their loss.
