Last Rites Held For Edna Muhlenbruch

Funeral services were held at the United Methodist Church, Belmond, on June 23 for Edna Marie Muhlenbruch, 73, who died at her home on June 19, 1979. Rev. Robert Newberg officiated. Burial was in Graceland Cemetery, Rowan. The Fulton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Edna was born February 18, 1906 at Sheffield to Edwin C. and Eva Madsen Nelson. She received her education in the Rowan School and was a member of the United Methodist Church. On December 11, 1925, she married William Muhlenbruch at Hampton. Preceding her in death were her parents and her husband, who died in 1970. Survivors include a son, Willis Muhlenbruch of Dows; a daughter, Beverly (Mrs. Robert) Dishman of Hampton; two brothers, Everett Nelson of Clear Lake and Ernest Nelson of Rowan; one sister, Enid Andrews of Belmond; 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren Casket bearers were Myron Andrews of Hampton, Herbert Muhlenbruch of Dows, Melvin Muhlenbruch of Thornton, Jim Burt of Rowan, Jerry Nelson of Plainfield, Ill., and Walter Nelson of Hampton.
