DOWS — Violet Barz, 92, died Thursday (April 8, 2004) at the North Iowa Hospice in Mason City. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday at the Dows Presbyterian Church in Dows, with Pastor Tony Hershey officiating. Burial will take place in the Fairview Cemetery in Dows. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the Dows Community Funeral Home-Ewing Dugger Group, 100 North Lee St. in Dows, and will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Monday.
