Dale Bolger Frohling, the son of George and Hazel (Bolger) Frohling, was born February 27, 1933, in Webster City, Iowa. After graduating from Eagle Grove High School in 1951, he was drafted to serve with United States Army from 1952-1954. On September 24, 1956, Dale was united in marriage to Joan Mohr in Tucson, Arizona. The couple lived on and farmed the family farm north of Woolstock until retiring in Sun City West, Arizona.

Dale passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2017, at the Community Living Center at Veterans Hospital in Des Moines, at the age of 83 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Darrell and John. He is survived by his children, Kathleen Willey of Las Cruces, New Mexico and Barry Frohling and wife, Alice of Ankeny, Iowa; grandchildren, Brandon and wife, Christie of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Jordan Frohling of Ankeny, Iowa and two great grandchildren, Bryden and Lenyx Frohling.

Visitation with family will be held from 4:30 – 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2017, at Foust Funeral Home in Eagle Grove. A private family memorial service will held following visitation. Dale will be laid to rest next to his wife in the United States National Cemetery in Phoenix, Arizona. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
