Shirley Ann (Warner) Faling, age 74 lifelong resident of Clarklake, Michigan passed away January 3, 2006 under the loving care of her family. Shirley was born on March 11, 1931 in Des Moines, IA, the daughter of Orville and Bessie (Welch) Warner. She married Harry Lewis Faling and he preceded her in death.

Shirley is survived by her sons: Lawrence (Patti) of Clarklake, David (Susan) of Southlake, Daniel of Somerset Center and Gary Faling of Florida; Grandchildren: Tiffany (Robert) Matthews of Jackson, Brandy Faling of Clarklake, Daniel Faling, Jr. of Howard City, Allyson (Kip) Grimes of Jackson, Frances Faling of Somerset Center, Sean Faling of CO, Crystal Faling of Jackson, Justin Faling of CO, Ian and Mallory Faling of Clarklake; Great Grandchildren: Bailey Shepherd, Cameron, Delaney and Cassidy Matthews of Jackson, Hailey and Lauren Faling of Jackson, Kip Grimes, Jr. of Jackson; brother: Robert of Leslie; sisters: Lois (Frank) Franklin of Aurelius, Mary (Earl) Vanderventer of Brooklyn and Thelma Phillips of Jackson; many nieces and nephews and special friend: Donald Southwell. Besides her husband, Shirley was preceded in death by her brothers: Donald, Edward and Frank Warner and Granddaughter: Meghan L. Faling.

A celebration of Mrs. Faling’s life will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. at the Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Braun Chapel, Brooklyn with Pastor Dave Cornwell officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Great Lakes Home Health & Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home, where family will receive friends on Friday from 4-8 P.M.
