Deloris A. Newholm, Age 89, of Kansasville [Wisconsin] passed away Friday, November 18, 2016 at Wheaton Franciscan All Saints Hospital in Racine. She was born August 14, 1927 to Floyd and Amelia (nee Nolte) Myers in Dows, IA. Her early life was spent in Iowa where she graduated from Stratford High School. On January 26, 1947 she was united in marriage to Reuben T. Newholm in Stratford, IA. Following their marriage they resided in Iowa until moving to the Kenosha area. They have lived in Kansasville the past 53 years. Deloris was a member of the Homemakers Club and helped work at the polls. She loved to read and enjoyed her flowers. More than anything she loved her family; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren meant the world to her.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years, children: Bethene (Charles) McCauley, Randy (Gayle) Newholm, Buck (Arlene) Newholm and Timothy (Fibbi) Newholm, 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her sister Arlene Hatfield, other relatives and friends. Deloris was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers Delbert and Arnold, and a sister Patricia.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at 12:30PM at Polnasek-Daniels Funeral Home. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, November 23 from 10:30AM until 12:30PM, at the funeral home. Burial will follow service at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, the family has suggested Memorials be made to the American Cancer Society . Deloris’ family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the staff at Wheaton Franciscan All Saints in Racine and Wheaton Hospice for their care and compassion.
