Corwith, IA - Funeral services for Frank Clapsaddle, 90, will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Corwith Methodist Church. The Rev. Warren S. Paige will officiate. Visitation will be at the Boughton Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Corwith Cemetery.

The son of Jacob and Helen Clapsaddle, he was born Feb. 1, 1876, at Wheaton, Ill. The family moved to Corwith when he was a child. He died Monday night at a Mason City hospital where he had been since fracturing his hip July 30.

Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Floyd (Helen) Piper, Des Moines; Mrs. Cecil (Evelyn) Bogard, Mankato, Minn,; Mrs. Morton (Leila) Wilson, Yakima, Wash,; Mrs. Glen (Lorraine) Jenson, Bode; Mrs. Herbert (Lillian) Prince, El Cajon, Calif.; Mrs. James (Bonnie) Bogard, Pueblo, Colo.; eight sons, Robert, Mason City; Vernon, Whittier Heights, Mich.; George, San Diego; Charles, Des Moines; Kilburn, Victoria, Tex.; Orvis, Des Moines; Dale, Ingleside, Tex.; Billy, Three Rivers, Tex.; 39 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by seven brothers and a sister.
