September 12, 1903 --- January 22, 1994

Louise C. Krysan, 90, Clarion, died unexpectedly on Saturday, January 22, at North Iowa Mercy Medical Center, Mason City. Services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, January 25, at St. John's Catholic Church, Clarion. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Clarion. Father Wayne Droessler officiated. Louise Mock was the organist and Monte Leichsenring was the song leader. Casket bearers were Jerry Sheffield, Roger Haupt, Mike Magee, Rick Prange, Ron Canfield, and Gordon Ira. Survivors include her daughter, Marie Sheffield, Clarion; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and sisters, Celia Sobolik, Winona, Minnesota, and Nora Panos, Protivin.

Louise Celia Lentz, daughter of John and Celia Malek Lentz was born on a farm near Spillville, on September 12, 1903. She was educated in the schools of Winneshiek County. She married Alphonso Krysan on April 13, 1921, at Dubuque. They farmed their entire married life in various Iowa communities. After her husband's death in 1960, Louise made her home in Clarion. While living in Clarion, she was a member of St. John's Catholic Church and the St. Rose Circle. Louise moved to the Prairie View Apartments, Gamer, in November, 1992. She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, both parents, three brothers, and two sisters.
