Zelda Moenck, 91, Fort Dodge, formerly of Duncombe, died Thursday evening at Friendship Haven in Fort Dodge. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the United Methodist Church, Duncombe, with the Rev. Robert Martin, officiating. Burial will be in the Washington Township Cemetery, Duncombe. Visitation is after 5 p.m. today at the Foster Funeral Home until 11:30 a.m. Sunday when the casket will be taken to the church.

Zelda Martina Gustafson, daughter of John and Anna Carlson Gustafson, was born Jan. 21, 1900 in Fort Dodge. At the age of one she moved to Evanston and attended rural school there. On March 18, 1920, she married Rudolph Moenck in Fort Dodge. The couple farmed west of Duncombe until November of 1983 when they moved into Duncombe. She was preceded in death by her husband in March of 1984. She had resided at Friendship Haven for the past two years. She is survived by sons, Robert, Fort Dodge, Donald, Vincent, Harold, Caledonia, Minn., Richard, Lehigh, John, Washington; 16 grandchildren; 30 greatgrandchidren; and 10 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by one son in infancy, one granddaughter, her parents, two brothers and eight sisters. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women, both in Duncombe.
