Clesine (Tudy) Caruth, age 95, of Williams died on Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Windsor Manor in Webster City. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, October 20th at the Vernon Lutheran Church, rural Dows with burial in the Williams Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before services at the church. The Surls Funeral Home of Williams is in charge of arrangements.

Clesine (Tudy) Marie Caruth was born on May 24, 1921 on a farm near Williams, Iowa, the daughter of Alfred and Elsie (Beyer) Otteros. She went to Vernon Township #8 through 8th grade and graduated from the Blairsburg High School. On March 9, 1940 Tudy was united in marriage to Andrew Caruth, Jr. at the Vernon Lutheran Church, rural Dows. She drove a truck from 1939-1989 and was a Proprietor of an antique shop from 1979-2009 called Sweet Williams. She was a lifelong member of the Vernon Lutheran Church, rural Dows.

Tudy is survived by her husband, Andrew who will be 100 on January 17, 2017; a son, Alan and his wife, Shary of Dows; a grandson, Cull Caruth and his fiancé, Holly Fisher of Williams; and two great-granddaughters, Shayler Caruth and her fiancé, Myles Askvig of Vincent and Karri Caruth of Indianola. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother and his wife, Fredrick and Joan Otteros; and her first born grandson, Ky Alan Caruth.
