June 26, 1901 ---- October 7, 1942

Mrs. Mary Irene Griffin, 41, died early this morning in her home, 112 Kansas Street, of a heart attack. Mrs. Griffin was born June 26, 1901 at Eagle Grove, Iowa and came to Sioux City when a small child. She had resided here since. Mrs. Griffin had worked for the Arthur Sanford Company for 21 years. She was a member of the Cathedral of the Epiphany. Surviving are one son, Harold Blood, St. Paul seminary, St. Paul, Minn., one daughter, Mrs. John Brooks of Sioux City, one granddaughter and one sister, Mrs. Winifred Harris of Sioux City. The body is at Rutledge’s Funeral Home.
