Last Rites For Mrs. Kate Trausch

Mrs. Kate Trausch, 82, died Sunday, Feb. 11th in Mercy hospital, Fort Dodge, where she had been a patient for three weeks. Mrs. Trausch had been ill the past four years and of late had been cared for at the Minor Nursing Home. A few weeks ago she had an attack of gall stones and it was necessary for her to undergo surgery for relief. She had been hospitalized since that time. She is survived by six children, Alfred and Stephen Trausch and Mrs. Clara Rink of Eagle Grove; Emil of Canby, Calif.; Mrs. Marie Hay of Fort Dodge; and Catherine of San Francisco, Calif, She also leaves three brothers Nicholas Bauman of Eagle Grove, Steve Bauman of Chenoa, Ill., and John Bauman of Pontiac, Ill., 26 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Sacred Heart church Wednesday morning, Feb. 14th, in charge of Msger. Murphy of Corwith. Burial was in Calvary cemetery beside her husband, Stephen Trausch, who died twenty-two years ago.
