Anna Maria Olson Folkedahl

December 28, 1857 ---- May 6, 1924

Mrs. Anna Fladbo Folkedahl was born at Fladbo, Kvinherd, Norway, Dec. 28, 1857. She came to U.S.A. to Clinton, county, Iowa, in 1882, where she lived about a year moving then to Holstein, Iowa, and later to Storden, Minn. In 1911 she came to Eagle Grove where she has lived since. She was married to Peter Folkedahl, January 12, 1912, he passed away February 11, 1918. Mrs. Folkedahl passed away after only one day's illness last Tuesday evening, age 66 years, 4 months and 7 days. She leaves two sisters, Mrs. Margreth Bonhus, Lake Wilson, Minn, and Mrs. Sofie Martinson, Storden, Minn., also three brothers, Ole F. Gunderson of Eagle Grove, Jens Fladbo of Millboro, S. Dak., and John Fladbo in Norway. Funeral services Friday afternoon from the home on North Wright avenue and the East Side Lutheran church. Burial in the Rose Hill cemetery.
