ANN BARTLEY
Ann Coons was born at Jolly, Iowa, February 17, 1900. She graduated from Sac City High School and in 1923 graduated from Iowa State College at Ames. She was united in marriage to Earl Bartley and they lived in Goldfield. After his death in 1953, she continued to live there until moving to Friendship Haven in Fort Dodge in 1978. She was a member of the United Methodist Church at Goldfield.

Ann Coons Bartley, age 95, of Friendship Haven, Fort Dodge, died at Thompkins Health Center at Friendship Haven October 12, 1995. Survivors include daughters, Barbara Bartley of Webster City, and Jane Rasmussen of Goldfield; 3 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother, William Coons. Private family services will be held at Glenwood Cemetery in Goldfield at a later date. Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home, Humboldt, Iowa, was in charge of arrangements.
