Eugene Francis Rochet was born in France on January 19, 1868, and passed away at his home in Woolstock September 8, 1939. He came to the United States from France at the age of 21 years. He was married to Miss Agnes Mortz at Algona September 24, 1901. To this union were born four children, two of whom are living, Louise and Barbara, both at home; two preceding him in death. He leaves to mourn his parting, his wife, two daughters, one sister, Mrs. Virginia Romeril of Wilmington, N. C., two nieces living in California, and a host of other relatives. Funeral services were from the Kastler-Kubitschek funeral home in Eagle Grove at 2:30 Sunday afternoon, with Rev. Wm. Badley of Williams officiating. George L. Jones, Coy Parrish, E. O. Frakes, W. A. Craig, Mason Doughten and Ernest Grandgeorge were pallbearers. Those from Woolstock attending the funeral were: Mrs. W. A. Craig, Mrs. E. Grandgeorge. Mrs. Ernest Mourlam, Mr. and Mrs. Edw. Olson and Mrs. Margaret Malaise, Mr. and Mrs. George Marshall, Mr. and Mrs. John Parrish, Mrs. Anna Bernard, Mrs. Robert Williams, Edw. Blackburn, Frank Spangler, and Mr. and Mrs. Lee Williams.
