July 16, 1891 ---- September 4, 1921

Herman Folkedahl who lives southwest of Eagle Grove died at his home Sunday, September 4th, after an illness of ten days. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the home and at the East Side Lutheran church, conducted by Rev. Severtson. Interment was made in Rose Hill cemetery.

Mr. Folkedahl was a progressive young farmer and leaves a host of friends to mourn his loss.

Herman Rervin Folkedahl was born July 16, 1891 in Humboldt county, Iowa, and died Sunday, September 4th, age 30 years, one month and 19 days. He was married August 29, 1918 to Miss Alide Netland of Eagle Grove and since then they have made their home on their farm southwest of the city. He leaves his wife, two children, Orlin Eugene and Willis Herman, one sister Mrs. Thomas Lister, and five brothers, Olie, Crist, Sam, Joseph and Amos.
