March 30, 1908 --- March 27, 1987

Funeral services for Gladys Frazier, 78, Stratford, were held Monday, March 30 at the Foster Funeral Home, Webster City. Rev. David LaMaster conducted the 1:30 p.m. service. Interment was held in the Cass Center Cemetery. Mrs. Frazier passed away Friday morning, March 27 at the Stratford Care Center, Stratford. During the service Ivan Hutson sang, "In The Garden" and "The Old Rugged Cross," accompanied by Mira Maxon. Bearers were Kenneth Anderson, Don Dyvad, Edwin L. Keller, Tony Smith, Jerry Trusty and Bernard Warrick.

Gladys Capsel was born on March 30, 1908 in Wright County. She was the daughter of Edward and Ellen (Conray) Capsel. Gladys was educated in rural schools. On May 23, 1939 Gladys married Glen Frazier at Clarion. The couple resided at Clarion, Eagle Grove and Webster City. Gladys was employed at Middleton Produce Company. Mr. Frazier passed away in 1981. Gladys moved to the Stratford Care Center two years ago. Survivors include a daughter, Wanda Witte, Madrid and son, Walter Hilpipre, Webster City; 10 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; brother, Ora Capsel, Webster City.
