Marc Willis Michehl, 58, of Duncombe passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at Trinity Regional Medical Center. A memorial service honoring his life will take place 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 17 at the Gunderson Funeral Home and Cremation Services. The visitation will be held from 9:00 – 11:00. Burial will follow the service at Colfax Township Cemetery.

Marc Willis Michehl was born on September 13, 1958 in Fort Dodge, Iowa to Willis and Evelyn Michehl. He attended Fort Dodge Senior High School and received his associate’s degree in mechanics at Iowa Central. Marc worked as a trailer mechanic for Van Diest. He was also a previous member of the Duncombe City Council. Marc was a kindhearted person always doing good deeds. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and eating ice cream with M&M’s. Every morning, you could find Marc having coffee at the Duncombe Gas Station visiting with friends.

Survivors include his mother, Evelyn Michehl of Fort Dodge; children Chase Michehl & fiancé Jenni Chapman of Fort Dodge and Jennifer Michehl of Algona, IA. grandchildren Bryson & Kinley Michehl of Fort Dodge; Siblings Tim and Terry Michehl of Fort Dodge, Michele Michehl of Urbandale, IA; and one nephew Myles (Alyssa) Michehl of Fort Dodge; and his special friend Sharron Symens. He is preceded in death by his father, Willis Michehl and will be remembered by his family, friends, and those who received a helpful hand.
