Mrs. John Ferguson Funeral Saturday

Mrs. John Ferguson, 73, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R. A. Wilcox at Ann Arbor, Mich., Wednesday, March 16. The Ferguson family lived in this community for many years and was well known here. Funeral services were held at the United Presbyterian church on Saturday afternoon and burial was in the family lot in the Glenwood cemetery.

Elizabeth Anguish Ferguson was born in Bellymana, Ireland Jan. 17, 1865. She was baptized and joined the Presbyterian church at Toronto, Canada, as a child. On Sept. 10, 1884, she was united in marriage to John Ferguson, moving with him to Wright county where she spent the remainder of her life except for a few months spent with her daughters in Michigan. Mrs. Ferguson is survived by her husband, seven daughters, three sons, 29 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. The children are Mrs. Joe Simon of Kanawha, Mrs. R. A. Wilcox of Ann Arbor, Mich., Mrs. C. T. Smith, Humboldt, Mrs. Everett Kessel of Eagle Grove, Mrs. Hans Wallukait of Rutland, Mrs. George Madison of Ann Arbor, Mich., Mrs. Floyd Samuels of Humboldt, Arthur Ferguson of Webster City, Gladney Ferguson of Ann Arbor, Mich., and John Ferguson of Ft. Dodge. Also a host of friends, and relatives mourn her passing.
