Mrs. Eva Rounds Dies Monday Night
The funeral of Mrs. Eva Rounds, the widow of the late Charles Rounds, will be held at the Kubitschek & Kastler Funeral home, Friday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock, Rev. Albert S. Kilbourn officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery.
Eva Walton, the daughter of Morgan and Harriet Seavers Walton, was born at Whitten, Iowa, March 17, 1868, and passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harry Snyder on North Iowa after a lingering illness of three years, Monday evening, her age being at the time of her death, 71 years, l month and 21 days. Her husband preceded her in death here in March 1914. She is survived by a son, Doremus Rounds of Houston, Texas; two daughters, Metta (Mrs. Harry Snyder) and Ethel (Mrs. Pete Prehm) both of Eagle Grove; four sisters, Mrs. Ella Moore of Fort Collins, Colorado, and Mrs. Effie Nakkin, Mrs. Amanda Chrisman and Miss Minnie Walton, all of Whitten; 18 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was a long-time member of the local Baptist church.
