Viola Claude Schnell of Clarion Iowa; born June 11, 1919 Wright Co., Iowa died Friday Sept. 2, 2016 in Belmond Hospital after a brief illness. Graveside services for Viola Schnell will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at Evergreen Cemetery in Clarion, officiated by Pastor Warren Curry. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul and son Lynn; her parents Fred and Hazel Claude; 2 sisters and 3 brothers. She is survived by 2 daughters, 4 sons and 1 brother. She also leaves behind 11 grandchildren, 22 Great grandchildren and 5 Great great grandchildren. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff of Belmond Hospital and Gateway Hospice for the care and support during her final days.
