December 18, 1848 --- May 30, 1938

Thompson Ross, 89, died Monday morning at the Coleman hospital. Mr. Ross, one of the oldest men of the community had made his home with his son, William Ross at Dolliver and with a daughter, Mrs. Phillip Peak at Grover. Funeral services are Wednesday afternoon at the Mahlum and Anderson chapel and the remains taken to Dows for further rites and interment. Children surviving are Wm. Ross, Dolliver; Mrs. Peak, Gruber; F.B. Ross, Emporia, Kansas; James Ross, Foxhome, MN; and Mrs. O.P. Hackbarth, Brownsdale, MN. F.B. [Felix] Ross arrived here Tuesday and Mrs. Hackbarth went directly to Dows for the services there.
