LUCILLE MAE SORENSON

Lucille Mae Mosher was born on February 16, 1920 in Fort Dodge, Iowa, to Henry A. and Mary Virginia Flanigan Mosher. She grew up in and attended the Lake City and Fort Dodge schools. On August 23, 1948, she was united in marriage to Arthur L. Sorenson at Humboldt; he preceded her in death on September 17, 1982. The family lived in Humboldt and Gilmore City before moving to Eagle Grove in 1979. She attended the United Methodist Church in Eagle Grove. Lucille M. Sorenson died Thursday, July 16, 1998, at the EXPO Care Center in Fort Dodge at the age of 78. Survivors include two daughters, Ella Graff. Webster City, and Dorothy Wilcox and husband, John, Eagle Grove; one son, James and wife, Deb. Fort Dodge; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two brothers. Paul and John Mosher, Fort Dodge. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arthur; one grandson, Isaiah Sorenson; one brother, Richard; and one sister, Eva. Funeral services were held on Saturday, July 18, 1998 at 10:30 am. from the Willim Funeral Home in Eagle Grove with Reverend Kenneth Fogelman of the Lighthouse Ministries in Fort Dodge officiating. Burial was held in Rose Hill Cemetery in Eagle Grove. Willim Funeral Home in Eagle Grove was in charge of arrangements.
