1878 ---- November 14, 1933

Miss Katherine Walsh, 55, died Tuesday night at the home of her brother, Micheal Walsh, in the north part of the city. Miss Walsh underwent a serious operation a few weeks ago in a Des Moines hospital and had returned to her home and was apparently making a good recovery. Saturday a blood clot formed on her brain and she became unconscious death coming at 9:50 Tuesday evening. It is thought the funeral service will be held Friday morning at 9:30 from Sacred Heart church, but definite arrangements are awaiting word from Miss Walsh's sister, who lives in the east.
