May 2, 1897 ---- December 10, 1951

Mrs. Fred Maier, 54, died at 7 p.m. Monday night at Mercy hospital Fort Dodge, where she had been a patient since October 28th. Mrs. Maier had been ill for some time and her illness had been regarded as critical. She is survived by her husband, one sister, Mrs. John Hart of Eagle Grove, and one brother Thomas C. Hood of Barnum.

Funeral services will be held this (Thursday) morning at 9:30 o'clock in Sacred Heart church in charge of Rev. James Slowey. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery. Casket bearers will be Joseph Maier Jr., Bernard Maier, Matt Sadler, Nick Sadler, Harley Finley and John Miller Jr.
