Anna O., daughter of Joe and Dora Chelsvik Shurson was born on the farm in Norway Township, Wright County, Iowa on May 4, 1893 and passed away the morning of January 11, 1955 at the State University hospital, Iowa City. At the time of her death she was 61 years, 8 months and 7 days of age.

Anna grew up on the farm attending school in the country and was baptized and confirmed in the St. John's Lutheran Church of Norway township, but for the past 26 years she was a member of the Eagle Grove Baptist Church.

In April, 1910 she was married to Felix Allie. To this union five daughters and four sons were born, one son Donald and, one daughter, Marjorie passing away when about four years of age.

Mrs. Allie is survived by four daughters, Alice, Mrs. Arthur Peterson, of Chesterton, Ind.; Dorothy, Mrs. Willis Skiye of Clarion; Darlene, Mrs. Howard Odland of Woolstock; Francis, Mrs. John Kolacinski, of Midlathian, Ill.; three sons, Yepton of Webster City; Jerome of Des Moines and Felix Jr., of Eagle Grove. Besides these children, 19 grandchildren survive and two brothers, Anfin and Sam Shurson and one sister, Mrs. Julia Minor all of Eagle Grove and a large number of friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Felix, two sisters, Josephine and Nellie and four brothers, John, Hans, Tom and Nels Shurson.

Services were held at Wilson-Sacquety Chapel on Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. Arthur W. Konrad a missionary on furlough, officiating. Interment was in the family lot in Rose Hill Cemetery.
