Raymond M. Fisher was the oldest child of John and Marion Fisher. He was born on July 22, 1886, in Troy township. On Dec. 2, 1907, he was united in marriage to Anna Belle Newcombe. Two children were born to this union. He had been in failing health for some time. He was very devoted to his home and enjoyed working outside. Mr. Fisher quietly passed away May 7, 1946, having reached the age of 59 years, 9 months and 14 days.

Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter and one son, Mrs. Art Nelson of Hardy and Marvin Fisher of Eagle Grove, one brother Ralph Fisher, Corwith, three sisters, Mrs. Stella Atwood, Mrs. Ethel Evans of Woolstock and Miss Maude Fisher of Eagle Grove. Three grandchildren, Ardith and Gary Fisher, and Ronald Nelson.
