FORMER LOCAL MAN SUCCUMBS IN IOWA
Frank Case, 75, former Evansville resident, died Tuesday, July 17, in his home at Belmond, Ia., following a lingering illness of two months, according to information received here by relatives. Funeral rites and burial services were held in Belmond.
Mr. Case, son of the late Mark and Mary Case, pioneer Evansville residents, grew to young manhood here and attended the city public schools. His father operated the Hotel Central and a livery stable here some 60 years ago.
Mr. Case was married to Miss Elizabeth Bleasdale, Janesville, and left Evansville for Iowa, some 50 years ago. Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Amy Peterson, Taft, Calif.; one son, Floyd Case, Clarion, Ia; and three grandchildren. Relatives here all of whom are cousins are Fred and Lew Fellows, Fred and Nay Gillman, Mrs. Grace Hubbard, and Mrs. Emma Bishop.
