October 17, 1860 --- December 16, 1933

Herman C. Willert was born Oct. 17, 1860, to Frederick and Mina G. Willert at Waterford, Racine county, Wisconsin. He passed away at his home south of Eagle Grove, Iowa, December 16th after an illness of seven weeks, having reached the age of 73 years, 1 month and 29 days. When eight years of age he with his parents came to Iowa settling in Sac county where he grew to manhood and spent the greater part of his life. He know the hardships of those early pioneer days. In February, 1910, he with his family came to Wright county, where he has lived since.
