Irene KEARNEY was born July 31, 1915, at Mason City, the daughter of Abraham ANGELIDES and Henrietta ANGELIDES (nee) HECK. She worked at the Belmond Nursing Home as a cook for 12 years and loved her job. She enjoyed reading and was a loyal patron of the Belmond Library. She loved family "get togethers" big and small from weddings, graduations to picnics. She was quite a shopper from K-Mart to the Mall of America. She was an avid "fair go'er." She liked all fairs, especially to take her grandchildren and great-grandchildren on the Ferris wheel. She could never pass up a good hot dog. She was a member of the Jolly Worker Club, a rural club. She leaves behind her wonderful memories to be shared for years to come.

The love of her life was her family, her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Leo KEARNEY of rural Klemme; a daughter, Sharon PETERSON and husband, Richard, Mason City; three sons, Larry TISOR, Jon TISOR and wife, Karen, and Thomas TISOR and wife, Lucille, all of Mason City; seven grandchildren, Rebecca PETERSON, Laurel REDMOND, Sandra PIIPPO, Kristen TISOR, Brian TISOR, Jeffrey TISOR and Amy TISOR; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Mary CRAWFORD, Indian River, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Leo TISOR; and one sister and two brothers.
