Funeral services for Donald Robert Blue, 42, were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Evangelical Lutheran Church, with Pastor H. W. Schiller officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery. Don, who farmed south of Eagle Grove, and was also employed by M & M Livestock Products Co., is survived by his wife, one son, Douglas; one daughter, Donna; his parents, former Governor of Iowa and Mrs. Robert D. Blue; and one sister, Mrs. Barbara Dittmar of Des Moines. Don served as Boy Scout Master for three years and was sponsor of the Junior League of the Evangelical Lutheran Church.
