Marshalltown, Iowa --- Charlene Oxenfield, 81, of Marshalltown died of cancer Friday at Grandview Heights Care Center there. The body was cremated, and graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Marshalltown. Mrs. Oxenfield was born in Eagle Grove and had lived in Marshalltown since 1940. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband, Bennie; a daughter, Karl Lien of Champlin, Minn.; three sons, David of Marshalltown, Scott of Evans, Colo., and Steve of St. Paul, Minn.; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Friends may call from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday at Pursel-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in Marshalltown. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
