Evelyn Marie (Blank) Creger of Bemidji, MN passed away on March 28, 2016, following a long period of illness. Evelyn was born in Kanawha, Iowa to Cecil L. and Marie L. (Krambeer) Blank and was the youngest of six children. Evelyn moved with her parents to Richmond, CA, during WWII. In 1944 they settled in Bemidji, MN. Evelyn attended Carr Lake Elementary School and then Bemidji High School, graduating in 1959. Evelyn lived and worked as an office clerk in areas of Minneapolis after graduating from HS. She married Harry Creger in 1994. She and her husband retired to Bemidji in 2002. Evelyn had a keen sense of humor, had an extensive collection of elephants, loved needle work and other crafts.

She is survived by her brother Robert (Lorene) Blank of Bemidji, sister Arlene Tangborn of Laporte, son Jerry (Lisa) Rytter of Appleton, daughter Julie Harcus of Minneapolis, and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Merle Blank and Joe Blank, sister Esther Vorderbruggen, son Jeffrey Rytter.

At Evelyn's request there will be no service. Arrangements were entrusted to the Olson-Schwartz Funeral Home and Cremations Service.
