Funeral services for Agnes Baker were held Friday at 1 p. m. at the Porter Funeral Home and at 1:30 p. m. at the First Christian Reformed Church with Reverend John Byker officiating. Miss Baker died Tuesday evening at the Sioux Center hospital. Miss Baker was born February 9, 1907 near Kanawha, Iowa. She came with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter S. and Dena (Kragt) Baker to Sioux County at the age of four years and lived in and near Rock Valley the rest of her life. Her parents preceded her in death. Survivors include a brother, John of Hospers and a sister, Nellie, Mrs. John Nobel of Rock Valley. Burial was in Valley View cemetery. Pallbearers were Gerrit Kragt, Harvey De Bruin, Alvin Van Zee, Ed Kragt, Delmar De Bruin and Frank Katje. Music was a trio sung by Mrs. George Van Boek, Jr., Mrs. Louis Altena and Mrs. Art Vanden Bosch with Delores Van Otterloo as organist and a hymn.
