September 18, 1848 ---- November 24, 1922

Dolliver, IA --- Mr. Knut [Knud] Hillestad, father of Thos. Hillestad, local banker passed away last Thursday morning at the home of his son. He had been in failing health for about a year and a half so that his death was not a surprise to those who knew of his condition. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon and the body shipped to Kanawha for interment.

Knut Hillestad, father of Thos. Hillestad, cashier of the Farmers’ Savings bank at Dolliver, passed away last Thursday morning at the home of his son. He had been in failing health for about a year and a half so that his death was not a surprise to those who knew of his condition. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon and the body shipped to Kanwaha for interment.
