Mrs. Frank Ballert

Bertha DeHart, wife of Frank Ballert, died Tuesday at her home, 32 Sacandaga Rd., Scotia, [NY] after an illness of seven weeks. Mrs. Ballert was born at Clarion, Iowa, but most of her life was spent in Amsterdam. She moved to Scotia following her marriage to Mr. Ballert a few years ago. Mrs. Ballert was a member of the Scotia Methodist Church and the Glenville Women's Republican Club and was an honorary member of Trinity Guild of Trinity Reformed Church, this city. Her first husband, Clarence Friday, died about 10 years ago. Surviving besides Mr. Ballert are one son, Donald D. Friday, Amsterdam; a sister, Mrs. Arnum Weiler, Albany; two brothers Lucius DeHart, Schenectady, and William DeHart, Amsterdam; two granddaughters, Patricia Sue and Donna Bert Friday, Amsterdam and several nieces, nephews and cousins. The funeral will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the James funeral home in Scotia and burial will be made in Green Hill Cemetery, this city.
