Ruth Alberta Caquelin was born on January 13, 1926 to James and Stella (Munson) Boucher in Valeria, Iowa. She died on Jan. 2, 2013 at Southfield Wellness Center in Webster City, Iowa. The family moved to Webster City, Iowa where they lived most of their lives. There she attended school and graduated from Webster City High School. On July 26, 1946, she married Donald (Tom) Max Caquelin. They had four children. Donald passed away on August 4, 2001. Ruth was a homemaker and worked at various jobs. She was a longtime member of the Woolstock community. Ruth was an active member of the Faith United Methodist Church until her health prevented her from continuing.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Robert Boucher, and three sisters, Virginia Thompson, Myrtle Osborne Grove, Helen Betty Knoll. Survivors include four children, Donald (JuDee), Bruce, Jimmie Dale (Marlys), and Peggy. Grandchildren, Scott, Staci, Matthew, Jason, Jeff, Jodi, Jeremy and Jaime and 10 great grandchildren. Four sisters, Marion Eccles, Margaret Dakin, Merna (Francis) Smith, Shirley (Sam) Knoll and one brother Jim (Mary Ann) Boucher.

Memorial services will be held on Jan. 11, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. at the Faith United Methodist Church in Webster City, Iowa with Rev. Jim Gochenouer officiating. Memorials will be at the discretion of the family.
