October 17, 1896 --- August 22, 1976

Hilda Stamp was born in Eagle Grove and received her education there. She moved with her parents to Sac City when she was 21 years old. She married Ira Barlow in 1922 at Sac City, and they made their home there. Mrs. Barlow was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Women's Missionary Society of the Free Methodist Church, Sac City. Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Ralph Christiansen, Fonda; Mrs. Lyle Clark, Des Moines; son MSgt. Richard Barlow, U.S. Air Force, stationed in Germany; 12 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brother; Prentiss Stamp, Louisville, Ky.; Walter Stamp, Woodburn, Ore.; sisters, Mrs. Ruth Hartley, Des Moines; Mrs. Alice Enberg, Shabbona, Ill.; and Mrs. Diana Brawn, Chicago, Ill.
