Grace Apgar, 85, of 1023 Fourth avenue SE, a resident of Cedar Rapids more than 65 years, died Thursday after a long illness. Born Nov. 5, 1890, in Eagle Grove, she was a member of the auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, North Western Women's club and auxiliary to the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen, and was a retired Avon sales representative. Surviving are a granddaughter and a grandson. Services: Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in Brady-Kuba funeral home by the Rev. William B. Harnish. Burial: Linwood. Friends may call at the funeral home after 9 a.m. Friday.
