Mrs. Cora Cole Dies in Maxwell

Mrs. Cora B. Cole, 67, died suddenly Monday afternoon after returning from a shopping trip to Des Moines. Mrs. Cole had been suffering from a heart ailment for several years. Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Thursday afternoon from the Christian church in Maxwell with the Rev. Ira Carney officiating. Burial will be in the Maxwell cemetery. Until time of services, the body will rest at the Cooper-Moore Funeral home. Mrs. Cole, though born in Goldfield, has spent most of her life in Maxwell. She is survived by her husband, George, two daughters, Miss Georgia Cole of Bozeman, Mont., and Mrs. Eleanor Christy of Cedar Rapids; three grandchildren: two sisters, Mrs. Martha Thorpe of Algona, Iowa, Mrs. M. C. Keith of Washington state; and two brothers, William Dewell of Algona and Edgar Dewell of Muskogee, Oklahoma.
