Anton Moser Rites Tuesday Morning

Funeral services for Anton Moser, 82, were held Tuesday morning at Sacred Heart church. Rev. Maurice Mullan officiated at the requiem high mass and interment was in Calvary Cemetery. Mr. Moser died Saturday at Mercy hospital, Fort Dodge where he had been a patient since the Thursday previous. However, he had been in failing health at the home of his son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. John Buhner with whom he had resided for many years. Mr. Moser is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Buhner, Sister Mary Faith of Fresno, Calif.; Mrs. Frank Russell, Clarion; Mrs. Geo. Larson, Mason City, and Mrs. Stanley Brown of Rock Island, Ill. All were present at the funeral with the exception of Mrs. Brown who is a surgical patient in the University hospital, Iowa City where she had a back operation. Others from out-of-town who attended the funeral were Miss Margery Russell, Salt Lake City, Ut., Mr. and Mrs. Jack Schaeffer, Iowa City and Stanley Brown of Rock Island, Ill.
