Jeanette A. Zajdlik, formerly of Chesaning, [Michigan] age 94, passed away Sunday morning, February 14, 2016, at MediLodge of Montrose at the age of 94. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 17, 2016, at St. Peter Catholic Church, 404 S. Wood Street, Chesaning. Fr. William Gruden will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Chesaning. Her visitation will be 2:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Misiuk Funeral Home and from 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the church until time of the Mass. A Time for Sharing Memories by her family and friends will be held 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Jeanette was born in Goldfield, Iowa on December 5, 1921, the daughter of John and Rose (Hesina) Kligar. Jeanette married Carl Zajdlik at Our Lady Catholic Church, Chesaning on June 15, 1940. They had five daughters. Carl passed away on June 3, 1962. Mrs. Zajdlik retired from Universal Electric of Owosso (now MagnaTek) after working 32 years. She was a lifelong member of St. Peter Catholic Church and a member of the Chesaning American Legion Auxiliary.

Left to mourn her loss are her daughters, Sharron Nelson of Colorado, Marlene (Robert) Vrable of Chesaning, Cindy (Howard) Gross of Chesaning, DiAnn (John) Stasa of Owosso; son-in-law, Ron Krzciok (Pam) of Owosso; 18 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two brothers, Charles Kligar (Mary Ann Yaklin) of Maple Grove, Joe Kligar of Chesaning; and many nieces and nephews. Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband, Carl; a daughter, Rose Marie Krzciok in 1996; two sisters, Rose Mills and Vera Schulte; two brothers, John Kligar and Frank Kligar; and two sisters-in-law. Memorial contributions are suggested to the McLaren Hospice.
