August 23, 1904 ----- February 16, 1956

Mrs. Claire Ellsworth died Thursday evening about 9:30 in Mercy hospital Fort Dodge where she had been a medical patient ten days. Mrs. Ellsworth is survived by her husband, one daughter Mrs. Phil Trausch, four grandchildren and one brother, Charles Hassett of Omaha, Neb.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Kastler Funeral Home in charge of Rev. Roy Cox. Interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery. Casket bearers were S. A. Trausch, Ed Ellsworth, Lloyd Hanson, Duane Trausch, Kenneth Trausch, and Ed Wood.

Attending the services from out of town were O. J. Gauthreaux, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Bailey, Miss Mina Larson, Charles Hassett of Omaha, Nebraska, Mrs. Ingra B. Ellsworth of Cedar Falls, Mrs. Walter F. Ellsworth of Iowa City, Alfred Trausch and Elizabeth of Clarion.
