Nancy Lee Moninghoff, 73, died May 10, 2009, at her home in Old Town [Florida]. She was born May 28, 1935, in Iowa City, Iowa, to Vernon and Alice Bock. She moved to Old Town in 1985 from Miami. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her husband, Sterling J. Moninghoff of Old Town; one daughter, Susan Sholes of Miami; two sons, Steven Maddox of Rochester, N.Y., and Robert Maddox of Stuart; four sisters, MaryJo (Don) Dencklau of Thor, Iowa, Verna (Don) Snell of Manson, Iowa, Judy Martin of Amarillo, Texas and June (Jerry) Sankey of Otho, Iowa; two brothers, Michael (Juanita) Bock of Fort Dodge, Iowa and Charles (Joni) Bock of Glidden, Iowa; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Ruth Kennedy and Patricia Birnbaum.

Graveside services will be Saturday, May 16, at 12:30 p.m. at Old Town Cemetery with Pastor Bobby Lindsey conducting the service. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon at the funeral home on Saturday. Arrangements are under the care of Watson Funeral Home, 426 W. Wade St., Trenton FL

OLD TOWN, FLA. - Nancy Bock Moninghoff, 73, of Old Town Florida, formerly of Fort Dodge, died May 10, 2009 at her home. Graveside services were held at Old Town Cemetery on Saturday, May 16. Nancy was married to Robert Maddox Sept. 2, 1951, later divorced. On Oct. 23, 1977 she married John Moninghoff. She is survived by her husband, John. Three childen Robert Maddox and Sue Shoals, of Florida, and Steve Maddox of New York; six grandchildren, two brothers, Michael (Juanita) Bock, Charles (Joni) Bock, four sisters, Mary Jo (Don) Dencklau, Verna (Don) Snell, Judy Martin, and June (Jerry) Sankey. Nancy is preceded in death by her parents Vernon and Alice Bock. Sisters Ruth Kennedy, Pat Birnbaum, and one grandchild.
