Funeral services for Henry Degen, age 37 years, a farmer who resided east of Eagle Grove were held at the Sacred Heart church with Rev. P. Molloy officiating. Survivors included his mother and eight children: Robert, Florence, Leonard, Marian, William, Esther, Donald and Jerome.
