Funeral services for Katherine McKenna, 88, Livermore, were Monday, Aug. 27, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Livermore with burial in Mount Calvary Cemetery. She died Thursday, Aug. 23, at the Trinity Regional Hospital in Fort Dodge. The Wilson Funeral Home, Livermore, was in charge of arrangements. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Richard (Nellie) Dunphy, Livermore, and brother, Joseph McKenna, Mitchell, S.D. Miss McKenna was born in Humboldt County near Hardy and attended the rural schools. She moved with her family into Livermore in 1913, and completed her education in Livermore. She stayed at home and cared for her parents for a number of years until they died, and she then was a companion for persons in their homes. Miss McKenna was a lifetime member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, a member of the Sacred Heart Guild and a member of the Livermore Community Club and Friends and Neighbors Club.
