Graveside rites for John Nervig of Spokane, Wash.

HARDY - Graveside services were held at the Vernon Cemetery near Hardy at 10 a.m. Friday for John T. Nervig of Spokane, Wash., who died August 28, following a lengthy illness. The body was cremated and sent to the Blake Funeral Home for interment. Rev. C. Wilbur Egeland, pastor of the Hardy Methodist Church, officiated. The only immediate survivors are nieces and nephews. Mr. Nervig was a former banker here. Mr. and Mrs. Nervig moved to Green Mountain from here and when Mrs. Nervig died, her body was brought back for burial. His second wife, Jessie, is also deceased. Mr. Nervig has lived in Spokane for over 20 years.
