Rosalie Maxine McCoy, 90, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2015, at Saint Marys Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota. She was born on September 1, 1925, in Alexander, Iowa, to Marie Blau and Claude Lent. Rosalie graduated from Latimer High School in 1942 and attended Hamilton School of Commerce in Mason City. She worked for Iowa Hardware Mutual Insurance Company in Mason City, Farmers Hybrid in Hampton and for the Franklin County Engineer. Rosalie was united in marriage to Martin McCoy on February 18, 1951. She was preceded in death by her husband Martin, parents, parents-in-law (Willis and Violet McCoy), brother Delbert, sister Billy and her husband (Roger Harvey), brother and sister-in-law Merritt E. and Gwyneth McCoy, brothers Ralph and Virgil Lent, Edward Gabrielson and his wife Doris, nephew Jeff Boutchyard, brother-in-law James Parker, sister Claudia Lent-Boutchyard and nephew Delmar Dale Hemmes. Survivors include brothers Charles (Carol) of Leesburg, FL and Clair Dean Lent of Homer, AK, sisters Marilyn Lent-Parker of Kernersville, NC and JoAn Lent-Skryme of Belmond, brother-in law Fred Boutchyard of Lompoc, CA, sister-in-law Marjorie Hemmes of Hampton, niece Susan (Mark) Schill, nephew Tim (Joanie) Harvey, nieces and nephews, the Wendell Schmitt family and the Don Routh family.
